How to charge with Recharge

Step 1

Open the app. Make sure you are registered, that the payment method is valid, and that you are logged into the app.

Step 2

Connect the charging cable to the car.

Step 3

Scan the QR code at the charging outlet using the app and swipe to start.

You can also search for chargers in the app by entering the location you are at or the destination you are going to.

Step 4

Follow the instructions in the app. At some charging stations, you need to click “start” on the charger’s screen before you can begin charging.

Ending the charging

Follow the instructions in the app to end the charging.

Step 1

Connect the charging cable to the car.

Step 2

Tap your payment card on the card terminal.

Step 3

Charging starts.

Ending the charging

Tap the same card you used to start the charging and end the charging in the same way. Scan the QR code on the card terminal to receive a receipt.

You will find the payment terminal on the charging post itself. You do not need to register any personal information or card details to start charging with a payment card. You can even pay with Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay – all with a simple tap.

When paying directly with a payment card, we reserve 500 SEK on your card when you charge. Once the charging is complete, the amount will be refunded to your account.

Get a receipt:

You can access your transactions and receipts via the link below. You will need the last four digits of the card you used for charging and the date when the charging took place.

Hold the charging card against the card reader for charging cards and tags. You will find it near the charger’s screen.

Step 3

Follow the instructions on the screen.

Ending the charging

Hold the charging card against the card reader again and follow any instructions on the screen to end the charging.

Scan the QR code at the charging outlet with your phone’s camera.

Step 2

Follow the instructions on your phone. You will be redirected to a secure website where you enter your card details and accept the terms. At some charging stations, you may also need to press start on the screen.

Step 3

Connect the charging cable to the car.

Ending the Charging

Follow the instructions in the browser and/or on the charger to end the charging.

You do not need to register in advance to charge your car at our charging stations. By scanning the QR code at the charger with your phone, you can easily pay with your payment card. If your phone does not have a camera, you can search for the charging station you are at on the map here. You will find the charger’s number above the charging outlet.

Tips for Charging with QR Code:

• When charging with a QR code, the payment details stored on your phone are automatically filled in.
• If you leave the website during charging, you can easily find the ongoing charging session by scanning the QR code again.
• Some charging stations go into pause mode if it takes too long from connecting the cable to the car until the charging station receives a start command from the browser. If this happens, simply reinsert the cable into the charging station and start again.

Recharge is an open charging network, which means you can use the payment method that suits you best. If you already have an app or a charging card/tag, there is a good chance you can use it to charge at our stations.
