About Recharge
Recharge is a Charge Point Operator (CPO) which builds, owns, and operates infrastructure for the charging of Electric Vehicles. Recharge’s charging business is conducted under the brand ‘Recharge’.
Recharge offers its network of charging stations to providers of electromobility services (“EMPs”), to allow EMPs to give their customers access to Recharges network of charging stations through subscription, app and other solutions. Recharge also offers drop-in charging (e.g., through QR code) to customers without a subscription.

At Recharge, we recognize that our business operations have an impact on the environment. We are committed to improving our environmental performance and reducing our footprint, particularly with regards to the key areas for environmental impact: energy, water, waste, transport, hazardous materials, business operations, biodiversity, and health.
About environment
To achieve our sustainability goals, we commit to:
- Reducing the consumption of resources and improving the efficiency of those resources.
- Managing waste generated from business operations according to the principles of reduction, re-use and recycling.
- Identifying all sources of environmental impact within our business.
- Collecting relevant data for environmental management and complying with all relevant environmental legislation and other environmental requirements.
In addition, we also aim to:
- Lead by example in environmental management by promoting environmental awareness and seeking to minimize the level of emissions in all areas of our operations.
- Effectively control the environmental risks to employees, contractors and the general public by complying with environmental legislation, Codes of Practice and industry recognized guidelines.
- Set and review at Board level in conjunction with the Recharges professional environmental protection advisers, environmental performance objectives and targets, conduct incident investigations and audit programs, in conjunction with Recharge’s professional environmental protection advisers, to facilitate continual improvement.
- Consult with our employees and provide helpful information, instruction and training to ensure all employees and contractors are aware of their environmental obligations. We also require all suppliers to accept and sign Recharge’s Code of Conduct (“CoC”), which includes environmental obligations.
- Seek to minimize waste in all our operations by promoting re-use, recycling and the use of recycled materials. We undertake an ongoing program of environmental protection awareness and ensure that enough resources are allocated as required for the implementation of this policy.
Our Responsibility
In Recharge, we take corporate governance seriously. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for maintaining Recharge’s corporate governance framework, including this policy.
In addition, our Compliance Officer is responsible for:
- Publicizing the existence of the corporate governance framework and all associated documents.
- Ensuring all corporate governance framework documents and policy documents are published on applicable forums.
- Maintaining a register and review of all corporate governance framework documents.
These responsibilities are essential to maintaining our commitment to strong corporate governance practices and ensuring transparency and accountability throughout Recharge’s organization.
